1. General Policy

Dunmow Minicab Company Limited provides pre-booked private hire and taxi services in and around Great Dunmow, including airport transfers, local runs, and long-distance trips. All services are supplied under our Terms & Conditions.

  • All bookings must be pre-arranged online, through the app, or by phone.
  • Our drivers are licensed by Uttlesford District Council, Braintree District Council, and South Cambridgeshire District Council.
  • From time to time, we may use trusted third-party operators (with drivers) who are licensed by other local councils to ensure availability and coverage for our customers.
  • We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, subject to vehicle and driver availability.

2. Airport Transfers

  • All airport transfer prices include up to 60 minutes of free waiting time after flight landing.
  • We monitor live flight information to adjust pickup times accordingly.
  • Any waiting beyond 60 minutes will be charged at our standard waiting rate.
  • Please ensure you provide the correct flight number, terminal, and contact details when booking.

3. Promotional Offers

From time to time, we may run special promotions such as our 5% off return journey deal. To qualify, both trips must be booked and paid online or via the Dunmow Taxis App at the same time. Phone or message bookings do not qualify for promotional discounts.

4. Privacy Notice

We take your privacy seriously. Personal information collected through bookings (online, app or phone) is used solely for managing your journey and improving our services. We never sell or share your data with third parties, except where required by law or for driver allocation.

  • All booking and payment data is securely processed via encrypted systems.
  • Our app provider (Cabcher) complies with GDPR and UK data protection laws.
  • Customers may request deletion or correction of their stored data at any time by emailing info@dunmowminicabcompany.com.

5. Service Limitations

  • All bookings are accepted subject to vehicle and driver availability.
  • We cannot guarantee specific vehicle types unless pre-agreed.
  • While we do everything possible to arrive on time, traffic and weather conditions may occasionally cause delays.
  • We recommend booking with adequate travel time, especially for airport connections.

6. Lost Property

  • Any property found in our vehicles will be held safely for 7 days.
  • Items can be collected by arrangement during office hours.
